quite loosely

Last night I had a lot of early/mini/tiny 'contractions'. I use that term QUITE loosely at this point. It was something stronger than the usual Braxton Hicks tightening, which made me take a lot more notice, but is more like a cramping pain. And again, 'pain' is a word I also use QUITE loosely knowing that this is actually not pain of any sort compared to what is coming. I would probably call it slightly uncomfortable.

Anyway, I felt like I had a zillion of them last night while sleeping. I kept waking up thinking, "oooh, yep, there's another one", and going back to sleep.

Having one right now.

I know that this could mean 9 more days or 9 more hours. It doesn't mean much. But, it does mean that my body is preparing, and for that I am grateful. I am still in no hurry, but am glad to have my body be responding and the baby to be moving lower. He's still so happy and moving around in there. And man, do the movements down low feel soooo strange.

I don't think it is time yet, but still wanted to record the preparation that continues to happen. I love it.
