Lisa

Self checked out this morning at Home Depot and saw the same little lady I saw yesterday. Yesterday, Reece was with me yesterday and we chatted about having another boy.

Today, she stopped me directly and said she wanted to ask me a question. She asked, "How did you get pregnant? What day of the week worked for you?"

I know, it was a bit of an odd question.
I shared our struggle to get pregnant with Reece and this second time another struggle and a diagnosis to confirm my lack of fertility. I told her that the doctors had said that InVitro was what we needed to do to in order to get pregnant.

There was a slight language barrier and she was a little confused of the details of why I couldn't get pregnant, but got the gist of it.
"So, how did you do it?", she asked.
I replied, "God did it."

It was short and sweet, but that part she got completely.
I asked if she was trying and she said that her friend was.
What a dear friend she must be to ask a total stranger these questions.

I asked if I could pray for her friend, and she seemed pleasantly surprised. She said her name was "Lisa".

I teared immmediately as I walked out of Home Depot.
Man, God uses this story in so many unexpected ways. Wow. Again I am overwhelmed for this tremendous blessing.

If it is your will, please bless Lisa with a child that she so desires. I know that yearning so well. Even more importantly, I pray that she be encouraged by what you have done and that she come to know and rely fully on You and Your great love for us above all else.

Those that follow this special journey along w/ me, please pray for her too. And, I'm sure you know many others like her.

Thank you, Lord, for this miracle and this story, so that your great name, love, and grace may be known by many, many more.

And thank you, Lord, for another day.
